Savannah Visitors' Center and History Museum
303 MLK Blvd. - www.chsgeorgia.org

The Savannah Visitors’ Center and History Museum is housed in the old Central of Georgia Railway passenger shed, a National Historic Landmark built in the 1850s and 1860s. The Savannah History Museum showcases the city’s history from its founding in 1733 to the present day.
Telfair Academy
121 Barnard St. - www.telfair.org

The oldest art museum in the South, the Telfair Museum of Art is an important regional and national resource for arts, culture and history. The mansion in which the museum's collection is housed was designed by English architect William Jay in the neoclassical Regency style. Built in 1818-1819 for Alexander Telfair, the mansion was home to the Telfair family until 1875. Mary Telfair, an early patron of the arts, bequeathed the house and its furnishings to the Georgia Historical Society to be opened as a museum.

Historic Railroad Museum
MLK Blvd. - www.chsgeorgia.org

Savannah's Central of Georgia Railway National Landmark District is the oldest and most complete Antebellum railroad manufacturing and repair facility still in existence in the United States. The Roundhouse Railroad Museum now has permanent exhibits in seven of the thirteen structures on the site.

Wayne-Gordon House
10 East Oglethorpe Ave. - www.girlscouts.org/birthplace

The Wayne-Gordon house was designed by the architect William Jay in the Regency style. Located at the Northeast corner of Bull and Oglethorpe Streets, the residence was built 1818 for the mayor of Savannah - and future U.S. Supreme Court Justice - James Moore Wayne and is the birthplace of Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts.

Cathedral of St. John the Baptist
222 East Harris St. - www.savannahcathedral.org

French Catholic émigrés established Savannah’s first parish, called the Congrégation de Saint Jean-Baptiste, shortly before the end of the 18th century. On April 30, 1876 after outgrowing their first two sites a new, brick Cathedral was dedicated on Lafayette Square. Designed in the French Gothic style with imposing nave and transepts the 124-year-old Mother Church of the Savannah Diocese sparkles again with refurbished original murals and stained glass.

Prima Yacht Charters
River St. - www.primayachtcharters.com

Welcome Aboard the Luxury Catamaran Prima. . . a sailing yacht specifically designed with the pleasure and comfort of you—its guests—in mind! Aboard, you will experience the true soul of sailing. Whether you join us for one of our leisurely Southeast Coastal Island cruises or prefer to island-hop in the British and American Caribbean during the winter months, you will finally find the time to unwind and truly enjoy life as it should be. PRIMA is a 2001 Lagoon 410 sailing catamaran which can accommodate up to 4 guests in two private cabins. Catamarans are a newer-style yacht whose popularity has grown in recent years for several reasons—their width gives them stability under sail and at anchor, while their shallow draft (water depth needed below the boat) allows them to pull right up close to that deserted beach. Sailing catamarans offer easy access to the water with easy, broad steps down their transoms, which makes them very popular for fishing, swimming and other water sports.Prima alongside at the Westin Hotel, waiting for your arrivalCatamarans are also faster than mono-hulls. Thus, you will usually get where you want to go in less time, allowing more time for land-side exploration and other leisure activities. You may also be surprised to learn that catamarans are extremely stable. Unlike mono-hulled sailboats—which tend to heel (tilt) sharply to one side in a brisk wind—catamarans remain level while sailing. This stability helps prevent any tendency towards seasickness and allows all our passengers to have a more enjoyable sailing experience without having to worry about maintaining their balance underway!.
